Mariana Rotaru
Born in Moldova, in a musician family,Mariana creates at early age with her sister, pianist Viorica Rotaru(graduate of Gnessin Russian Academy of Music)a Chamber Duo. Together they played recitals in Germany and International Competitions. (XIV International Competition “Remember Enescu”2007,(Romania) and “The IV International Taneev Chamber Ensembles Competition”(Russia)”
During her Master Degree studies in London, she collaborated with the British pianist Ben Hall for the Funtington Foundation Award and with the Japanese pianist Kazu Shiraiso for the International publisher “Shott Music”in London.
In 2014 along Giuliano Carmignola Baroque Ensemble,Mariana had the honor to play for Princess Margareta of Romania and King Mihai I in Bucharest Atheneum Hall .Later one year,Mariana played in the presence of Duchess of Richmond ,for the Hollywood actress Virginia McKenna’s “Born Free”Foundation. Mariana is featuring in recordings like Pink Floyd’s “Wish you were hear”symphonic ,recorded in Abbey Road Studios in London and in DVD “Live in Royal Albert Hall” Deep Purple &Friends Celebrating Jon Lord”.
